Thai Factory Development Public Company Limited (TFD) was set up in 1977 with a joint-partner between the Industrial Finance Corporation of Thailand (IFCT) and the England-based Commonwealth Development Corporation (CDC.) The Company was listed in the Stock Exchange of Thailand as one of the property development classification and turned to register a public company on February 4, 1991. Nowadays, TFD has increased their registered capital to THB 3,324, 000,000 for more investment.
The core business of the company aims to become a key role of the “INDUSTRIAL” real estate business such as developing land for industrial purposes and ready-built standard industrial premises for both sale and rent in both industrial estates and/or industrial zones within Bangkok and vicinity.
After having kicked-off the TFD Industrial Estate 1 until meet achievement, TFD gladly presents our new expansion in the name of “TFD INDUSTRIAL ESTATE 2” locating in the designated area of the “Eastern Economic Corridor,” a pilot project for the economic development of Thailand’s Eastern Seaboard.
The EEC area covers over 13,000 square kilometres within main 3 provinces; Chachoengsao, Chonburi, and Rayong provinces. Over the past 30 years, these three provinces have been developed to support the fast-growing industries with the Thailand 4.0 moving. The government has launched many schemes to support and accelerate the economic growth in the EEC, for instance, measures to develop public utilities, transportation systems, logistics, human resources, and investor’s facilitation in the form of One-Stop Service Center.
TFD Industrial Estate 2 is strategically situated on motorway k.m.43, Tha-sa-an sub-district, Bangpakong district, Chachoengsao province comprising of total area 841 rais with alternative plots for the General Industrial Zone (GIZ) and Free Zone to match users in using. Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC): Thailand 4.0 in Action
Chachoengsao, Chonburi and Rayong Provinces have been designated for the development of the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), a pilot project for the economic development of Thailand’s Eastern Seaboard. Over the past 30 years, these three provinces have been developed to support the fast growing industries. It was the “eras of industrial revolution”. In 1987, Map Ta Phut industrial estate was established and it was the beginning of the development of Thai heavy industry, such as petrochemical, auto and electronics industries. These eras are also called Thailand 3.0. Today, Thailand is ready to move forward to the era of Thailand 4.0.
The EEC area covers over 13,000 Km2. The government has launched measures to support and accelerate the economic growth in the EEC, for instance, measures to develop public utilities, transportation systems, logistics, human resources, and investor’s facilitation in the form of One-Stop Service Center.
